Experiential Opportunities

  • UK’s annual Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) conference is looking for student volunteers this Saturday, April 20 to help with this hands-on day of learning. Students can share their love of science, math, technology, or engineering with middle school girls from around the state.   • The Kentucky Rural Exchange Program (RUX) is now accepting applications for their 2019 cohort. Once accepted into the program RUX members will attend three community intensives over the summer to hone professional skills and develop leadership experience while exploring Kentucky.   • UK and KY Farm Bureau are seeking undergraduate or graduate students with good standing within the college to become IFAL counselors. IFAL will place June 23 to 27, and living on campus during this week is required. For more information, click here

  • UK Retailing and Tourism Management invites student, faculty and staff to attend the annual Color Me Spring Fashion Show this Thursday, April 18. In addition to the show, there will be a silent auction, full bar, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. All proceeds from the show will benefit student scholarships. For more information, click here
